What environmentally sustainable design means to us?

It means a series of aspects to be considered when imagining, creating, designing, and building buildings.

Sustainability means to create, design, and build projects that are beneficial and minimise damage to the environment and its inhabitants.

Sustainability means healthy buildings. To create, design and build projects that are beautiful, function well and have a great connection to the natural world. Including connection to nature, appropriate shading, passive heating and natural light and ventilation.

Sustainability also means a relationship with what is beautiful. It is about creating a building that educates and inspires. It is a building that leads by example.

Sustainability is about building essentials functionalities. For example, positive management of water, energy, stormwater, and construction practices.

Sustainability means awareness. It is about being conscious of the material choices and the processes embedded in them.

Sustainability also means creating and maintaining caring relationships throughout the process of a project with our clients and all consultants involved in the project process.
